LITTLE ROCK — Companies reporting quarterly earnings Tuesday included:
AT&T Inc., the largest telecommunications company in the U.S., a profit of $3.9 billion, or 66 cents a share, up from $3.6 billion, or 60 cents a share, a year ago. Revenue rose 0.3 percent to $31.6 billion. Shares fell 75 cents to close at $34.63.
DuPont Co., the manufacturer, a profit of $1.18 billion, or $1.25 per share, down from $1.22 billion, or $1.29 per share, a year ago. Revenue rose 7 percent to $11 billion. Shares fell 97 cents to close at $47.74.
Reynolds American Inc, the cigarette maker, a profit of $443 million, or 78 cents a share, up from $327 million, or 56 cents a share, a year ago. Revenue fell 4 percent to $2.18 billion. Shares fell 39 cents to close at $45.35.
Six Flags Entertainment Corp., the amusement park operator, a profit of $72.3 million, or $1.27 a share, up from $35 million, or 62 cents a share, a year ago. Revenue rose 11 percent to $374.9 million. Shares rose $3.37 to close at $55.96.
