The Arkansas attorney general’s office has not taken a position on whether a racial restriction can be legally severed from the Arkansas Public School Choice Act of 1989. A story in Wednesday’s edition incorrectly stated the office’s position. The motion to the court was submitted by Andi Davis of Andi Davis Law Firm and Williams and Anderson PLC, and signed by Andrew King of Williams and Anderson.

Bauxite has five aldermen. An article in Wednesday’s editions on a potential mayoral recall election in the city incorrectly stated the number of aldermen.
