LITTLE ROCK — A Newport man was killed Tuesday afternoon on Arkansas 224 in Jackson County when a piece of metal went through his windshield and struck him in the head, according to a preliminary Arkansas State Police fatality report.
Larry Riley, 68, was driving north near Newport about 1:40 p.m. when the metal object crashed through the windshield on his Dodge pickup.
