Eisenhowers to speak at SAU

— David and Julie Eisenhower will speak at Southern Arkansas University in September.

David Eisenhower, grandson of the late President Dwight D. Eisenhower, is director of the Institute for Public Service at the University of Pennsylvania Annenberg School of Communication.

Julie Eisenhower is the daughter of the late President Richard Nixon. She is a lecturer, writer and editor.

The Eisenhowers are the speakers for SAU’s eighth annual Farmers Bank and Trust Distinguished Speaker Series.

Their appearance Sept. 13 will begin at 6 p.m. with a private reception followed by a 7 p.m. dinner and then the lecture, which will be in the Grand Hall of the Donald W.Reynolds Campus and Community Center.

Tickets for the dinner and lecture are $100 each. Tickets for the reception, dinner and lecture are $200 each. Sponsorships are available to receive premium seating.

The Farmers Bank and Trust Distinguished Speaker Series, established in 2005, is designed to benefit students through a scholarship endowment with the Southern Arkansas University Foundation and bring national and international speakers to the SAU campus.
