CABOT — Fayetteville, behind a 29-point third quarter, blew out Fort Smith Southside 76-54 in the second semifinal of the night in the Class 7A state tournament at Cabot.

Watch VideoThe Purple Bulldogs took full advantage of their height differential, out-rebounding the Rebels 35-16 on the night. Tyler McCullough, the 6-9 center, finished with 18 points and 13 rebounds, his second straight double-double for Fayetteville.
Fort Smith Southside trailed 26-24 at halftime, holding Fayetteville to just eight points in the quarter.
Fayetteville will play Little Rock Hall in the Class 7A state championship game in Hot Springs next week.
