LITTLE ROCK — Crews erecting beam girders for the new flyover bridge from Interstate 430 south to Interstate 630 east in Little Rock will require a weekend ramp closure beginning Friday night, the Arkansas Highway and Transportation Department said.
The ramp involved goes from Interstate 430 south to the northbound lanes of South Shackleford Road to West Markham Street.
The improvements will require the ramp to be closed beginning at 10 p.m. Friday until 5 a.m. Monday, weather permitting, the department said.
Motorists wanting to use that ramp will be required to use the loop ramp to the South Shackleford and Hermitage roads intersection south of Financial Centre Parkway and Markham Street. Detour signs will be installed to aid motorists trying to access Shackleford and Markham, the department said.
