SEARCY — The Master Gardeners of White County are accepting applications for their college scholarship for fall 2012. Applicants must be a White County resident or a student in White County and must be seeking an agricultural degree at any college or university
This annual scholarship is awarded to a student based on academic performance, leadership, community involvement and other factors.
Interested parties may pick up rules and application forms from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday at the White County Cooperative Extension Service Office, 411 N. Spruce St. in Searcy. Applications are also available in counselor’s offices at area high schools. Completed applications must be received by April 15.
The Extension Service is part of the University of Arkansas, Division of Agriculture.
