LITTLE ROCK — President Barack Obama’s re-election campaign will open an Arkansas office in North Little Rock today.
The Obama for America state headquarters is located at 201 West Broadway St. in North Little Rock.
Through an e-mail, Democratic Party of Arkansas Chairman Will Bond invited supporters to attend a free party from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the office parking lot.
Democratic Party spokesman Candace Martin said Obama’s national campaign manager Jim Messina will speak at the opening.

Messina is also scheduled to attend a fundraising event Tuesday at Juanita’s at 614 President Clinton Avenue in Little Rock.
