A bomb threat prompted the evacuation of a North Little Rock school Wednesday morning, but a search of the area turned up nothing suspicious. The school got the all-clear to return to class around 8:50.

According to officials, a person called the main number at Argenta Academy 8:05 a.m. and made the bomb threat.

Sgt. Brian Dedrick with the North Little Rock Police Department said officers combed the school and surrounding area but found no sign of a bomb or anything else suspicious.

1301 Main Street in North Little Rock.

Police and fire vehicles surrounded the school, blocking off 13th Street at Main, while students gathered outside on the sidewalk at a safe distance from the building.
