Man held in knife attack on wife

— A North Little Rock man was arrested Thursday on accusations he assaulted his wife with a knife.

Tommy Strange, 43, is facing a charge of first-degree domestic battery.

According to a North Little Rock Police Department arrest report, officers were dispatched around 1:45 p.m. to an apartment at 701 W. 18th St. in reference to a man that had stabbed his wife.

Police arrested Strange and transported his wife, identified as Quida Nation, to UAMS Medical Center to be treated for "multiple lacerations." No further details on the extent of her injuries were immediately available.

After complaining of chest pains, Strange was taken to the hospital before being booked into the Pulaski County jail.

An initial court appearance is scheduled Monday.
