His dad remarried in 1951 to Jo Trussel. Mr. Bullock was reared at the pocket at Mills Bayou between DeWitt and Gillett and received his education in Arkansas County. He married Betty Jo Harper on April 16, 1955, in Hernando, Mississippi. Mrs. Bullock passed away on September 25, 2010.

Our dad never complained, always showing his love by being there if we needed him. He was a man of great pride and leadership.
