PINE BLUFF — Police are investigating the deaths of two people in Pine Bluff.
Police Lt. Jo Ann Bates told KLRT-TV that officers received a call of a shooting just after 2 a.m. Saturday. When police arrived, they found a man and a woman with gunshot wounds.
The Jefferson County Coroner's Office pronounced Marcus Thorns and Jennifer Wainwright dead at the scene.
Bates says police arrested a man, but the circumstances that led to the shooting remain under investigation.
