— SEC SEMIFINALS MISSISSIPPI STATE 2, KENTUCKY 1

HOOVER, Ala. - Jonathan Holder picked up his third save of the SEC Tournament with a scoreless ninth inning Saturday afternoon as Mississippi State (38-22) advanced to the championship game with a victory over Kentucky (43-16).

Mississippi State will play Vanderbilt for the championship today. The Bulldogs are seeking their seventh SEC Tournament title and first since 2005.

VANDERBILT 8, FLORIDA 6

HOOVER, Ala. - Anthony Gomez singled home the go-ahead run and then stole home as Vanderbilt (33-25) rode a five-run ninth inning to victoryover Florida (42-18).

Vanderbilt fueled the comeback over the Gators with six stolen bases in the ninth.

Florida scored two runs in the bottom of the ninth and had the bases loaded before Vanderbilt reliever Drew VerHagen retired Justin Shafer on pop-up to right field on his only pitch to end the game.

SOUTHLAND CHAMPIONSHIP TEXAS-ARLINGTON 13, SOUTHEASTERN LOUISIANA 4

SAN MARCOS, Texas - Ryan Walker had four hits, Preston Beck hit a grand slam and fourth-seeded Texas-Arlington (36-23) routed No. 2 Southeastern Louisiana (39-21) to win the Southland Conference Tournament championship at Bobcat Ballpark.
