Graces Guild celebrates fifth anniversary with luncheon honoring Anita Cabe

— The 2012 Graces Women’s Guild Luncheon, supporting The Muses Creative Artistry Project, will be held at 11:30 a.m.

Thursday at the Hot Springs Country Club and will honor well-known philanthropist Anita Cabe.

Anita Boyce Cabe was raised in Marianna and attended T.A.

Futrall High School. She attended Henderson State University to study business and is a Class of 1967 alumnus.

Cabe has served for 23 years as board secretary-treasurer of the C. Louis & Mary C. Cabe Foundation. She is also a board member of the Henderson State University Foundation, the Wesley Foundation and the Brandon Burlsworth Foundation. Cabe was a Henderson trustee for 14 years. She has also served as president of her local chamber of commerce and Rotary Club. She is a member of Gurdon First United Methodist Church. Cabe and her husband, Charles, have a son, Clay Cabe, and a daughter-in-law, Sarah.

Tickets to the Graces Guild Luncheon are $50. All proceeds will support and promote The Muses’ mission to help individuals experience creative renewal and deeper understanding of their own needs for artistic expression and balance in life.
