Days of our Lives: As news of Stefano’s arrest swept town, EJ rebuffed Lexie’s pleas to help him, but a CIA agent arrived and demanded Stefano’s release, saying Stefano had been buying up the illegal arms as part of a CIA project to get them off the market.

In exchange, Stefano would receive full immunity forall his crimes. Maggie confronted Victor over what he meant when she overheard him telling Henderson she “can’t know the truth,’’ and he finally confessed that he inadvertently had stolen her harvested eggs many years ago. Carrie’s happiness over finally being with Rafe was dashed when a pregnancy test revealed she was carrying Austin’s child. After Lexie collapsed at the police station, Abe rushed her home and summoned Daniel, who confirmed that time was running out for her. She happily accepted. Daniel gave Danny a brief history of his life with Daisy and wondered whether he had been right to marry her, but Danny said he had no regrets about marrying Phyllis so he could be near Daniel. He added that the important thing was for Daniel to keep his focus on Lucy. Later, Danny called Phyllis after Ricky posed as a journalist to interview Danny and tried to turn the subject to Danny’s personal past with Phyllis. Jack happily told Nikki that a judge had ruled against Victor and Genevieve, clearing the way for his lawsuit against Gen. Although Neil assured Sofia he would try to make their marriage work, she told him she wanted a divorce after he confessed he would never feel passion for her.

Daniel told Kevin that he blamed himself for Cassie’s death, since his drunken state made it possible for her to take his car keys. Family and friends gathered at Newman Ranch to share Cassie’s favorite dinner and toast her memory.
