LITTLE ROCK — Two candidates will face each other in the Nov. 6 judicial runoff for one of the state’s Court of Appeals positions, according to unofficial results.
Three other positions were filled in Tuesday’s election. Brandon Harrison of Fort Smith got 52.6 percent of the vote in District 4, Position 1; Rhonda Wood of Conway got 62.6 percent in District 2, Position 2; and Kenneth Hixson of Fayetteville got 52.4 percent in District 3, Position 2.
A runoff is likely in District1, Position 2 between Phillip Whiteaker of Cabot and Jeannette Robertson of Jonesboro.
Incumbent Court of Appeals Judges Robin Wynne of Fordyce in District 5 and Mac Glover of Malvern in District 4, Position 2 retained their positions in Tuesday’s vote.
