Four-run fourth enough for Travs

— The Arkansas Travelers used a four-run fourth inning on their way to a 5-3 victory over the San Antonio Missions on Sunday afternoon in front of 3,186 at Wolff Stadium.

The Travelers clinched their first road series victory Sunday in seven tries and have won two consecutive after losing three in a row at Corpus Christi.

Arkansas trailed 3-1 in the top of the fourth inning. Carlos Ramirez and Darwin Perez walked to lead off the inning. With Rian Kiniry at the plate, Missions starter Hayden Beard (2-4) threw a wild pitch and Perez and Ramirez advanced to second and third.

Beard struck out Kiniry, but walked Jean Segura to load the bases. Renny Osuna hit a three-run double to give the Travs a 4-3 lead. Casey Haerther followed with a run-scoring single for a 5-3 advantage.

Travs starter Ariel Pena (3-4) allowed 3 runs, 1 earned, on 8 hits in 5 1/3 innings. He walked four and struck out one. Andrew Taylor gave up one hit in two innings for his second save.

Ryan Mount returned from the disabled list Sunday and went 2 for 4 and scored a run.
