An Alexander man was arrested on charges that he had child pornography on his computer at his Saline County residence, according to a release from the Saline County Sheriff's Office.
John D. Green, 69, of 15520 Birch Dr, was arrested and taken to the Saline County Detention Center and is currently being held without bond on 236 counts of possession of child pornography, a Class B felony, and one count of attempting to influence a public official, a Class A misdemeanor.
Police found 236 separate images and videos on electronic devices at Green's home when he was served with a search warrant.
Officials took Green into custody on Wednesday afternoon and his bond hearing is set for Thursday.
