LITTLE ROCK — Megabus.com has added Little Rock to its schedule with initial fares as low as $1 during the first week of sales.
The express bus company on Thursday announced service begins June 19 from Little Rock to Dallas and Memphis.
According to its website, the Little Rock stop will be at a parking lot at the southwest corner of Cumberland Street and East 6th Street.
The carrier, which only sells tickets online, says a new direct schedule from Dallas also includes Houston, Austin, San Antonio and Norman, Okla.
Megabus.com describes itself as a low-cost express bus line that offers tickets via the Internet. The vehicles have free Wi-Fi. The fleet includes some double-decker buses.
