— Arkansas Gov. Mike Beebe is to speak to the state Chamber of Commerce at its annual meeting in downtown Little Rock.

Beebe is to speak Wednesday at the annual meeting for the state chamber and Associated Industries of Arkansas at the Statehouse Convention Center.

His speech comes a day before his administration is expected to unveil his balanced budget proposal for next year.

The group is also to hear from Robert Bryce, a senior fellow with the Center for Energy Policy and the Environment at the Manhattan Institute. The chamber reports that Bryce has written four books and is a regular contributor on Fox News, CNBC and other networks.
