LITTLE ROCK — 19-year-old held in rape of girl, 13
A North Little Rock man was arrested Thursday and charged with rape and drug paraphernalia possession, authorities said.
Elvin Earl Bryant, 19, told a detective he had sex with a 13-year-old girl on a bathroom floor, according to the arrest report.
About 3:30 a.m., officers talked to the victim’s mother, who said Bryant raped her daughter, police said. Bryant admitted to the act later, police said.
Officers checked Bryant’s jacket at his home and found what they believed to be a marijuana crusher with marijuana in the breast pocket, the report said.
Bryant was taken to the Pulaski County jail, where he remained in lieu of a $25,500 bond.
