— VOLLEYBALL Arkansas earns road victory

Jasmine Norton had a match-high 15 kills and 10 digs and Roslandy Acosta had 11 kills and 12 digs to lead Arkansas to a 3-1 (25-22, 25-13, 23-25, 25-12) victory over LSU on Wednesday in Baton Rouge, La.

Amanda Anderson had 12 kills and 5 blocks and Emily Helm added a career-high 27 digs for the Razorbacks (22-8, 13-6 SEC), who won at LSU (12-17, 8-12) for the first time since 2004. Janeliss Torres-Lopez finished with 7 kills and a .545 hitting percentage with 4 blocks for Arkansas UAFS senior honored again

Arkansas-Fort Smith senior middle hitter Heidi Luks has been named an All-South Central Region selection by the American Volleyball Coaches Association.

Luks helped lead the Lady Lions (28-2) to their first regular season conference title, their second conference tournament championship and their second berth in the NCAA Division II South Central Region Tournament. She was named conference hitter of the week seven times, was an all-conference selection and the Heartland Conference player of the year and was the most valuable player in the conference tournament.
