— Elizabeth Anne Rogers and Evan Joseph Hamilton exchanged marriage vows at 5 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 17, at All Souls Church in Scott. Officiating were Dick King of Indian Hills Church and Ben Jordan, retired pastor of All Souls Church.

Sandra and John Rogers of North Little Rock are the parents of the bride. She is the granddaughter of Helen and Dr. Hobart Rogers of Rutherfordton, N.C., and the late Jean and Jim Parks of Hattiesburg, Miss.

The groom is the son of Sondra and John J. Hamilton III of Scott. His grandparents are Frances and John J. Hamilton Jr. and Norma and Clayton Evans, all of North Little Rock.

The altar was decorated with a silver and gold candelabrum holding large pillar candles and accented with green hydrangeas and roses. Music was by organist Kay Lindley and vocalists Michael Brymer and Shari Edwards.

Given in marriage by her parents, the bride wore an ivory strapless fluted gown with a re-embroidered lace overlay and sweep train. The sweetheart bodice had a satin ribbon belt embellished with crystals and rhinestones. She carried a bouquet of roses, calla lilies, orchids, freesia and hydrangeas in shades of cream, alabaster and pale green.

Mary Catherine Rogers of Conway was her sister’s maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Caroline Larrick of Dallas; Madeline Millstein and Molly Leopard, both of Fayetteville; and Kristin St. Clair of Little Rock. They wore olivine-colored shantung knee-length dresses with pleated strapless bodices. They carried bouquets of hydrangeas, cockscomb, succulents, roses, pods and berries in shades of cream, pale green and lavender.

Matthew St. Clair of Little Rock was best man. Groomsmen were Jon Chang of Little Rock, Matthew Callaway of Sherwood, Chase Diemer of Memphis and Ryan Bridges of Dallas. Guests were seated by Nicholas Andrews and William “Tripp” Still, both of Little Rock; Zane Myers of Shawnee, Okla.; and Vesper Haynes of Jones, La.

A reception at Pavilion in the Park followed the ceremony. The buffet held tall arrangements of hydrangeas, orchids and hybrid delphinium in tall containers with some set on wooden and moss pedestals. Guest tables held a mix of hydrangeas, roses and peonies or antique wooden boxes filled with succulents, mosses, hydrangeas and roses. Music was by JD and the Fender Benders.

The bride, a Fulbright Scholar, graduated with a bachelor’s degree in advertising and public relations from the University of Arkansas, where she received a Chancellor’s Scholarship. She is a public relations associate account executive with Stone Ward.

The bridegroom graduated from the university with a bachelor’s degree in biology. He is a dental student at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center.

The couple will make their home in Memphis after a wedding trip to Playa Mujeres, Mexico.
