LITTLE ROCK — A “bumper crop” of attendees turned out for the 2012 National Philanthropy Day Awards Luncheon, hosted by the Association of Fundraising Professionals. The event took place Nov. 14 in the Peabody Little Rock ballroom. KTHV-TV, Channel 11, news anchor Craig O’Neill was master of ceremonies.
Tom Nisbett, president of the association’s Arkansas Chapter, welcomed guests. Past and current honorees were recognized, and introduced, by O’Neill. Honorees for 2012 included Eileen and Dr. Ricardo Sotomora, Outstanding Philanthropists; Kirk Bradshaw, Outstanding Volunteer Fundraiser; Little Rock Central High School Civitan Club, Outstanding Volunteer Organization; Blue & You Foundation for a Healthier Arkansas, Outstanding Philanthropic Foundation; Baptist Health, Outstanding Philanthropic Corporation; Eleanor Grace Lambert, Outstanding Youth Fundraiser; and Dawn Prasifka, Outstanding Fundraising Professional.
