At 5:43 p.m., two black men walked into the back room of Woodson Grocery at 8300 Woodson Lateral Road and forced the clerks, Khurshid Alam, 27, and Dennis Montgomery, 57, to lie on the floor at gunpoint, the report said.

Alam was told to put money from the cash register into a plastic sack and, after taking an unknown amount of tobacco products, the suspects left the room, the report said.

Deputies spoke with customer Leonard King Jr., 48, who said the suspects came from the back room and demanded his money at gunpoint, the report said.

Witnesses told deputies the suspects fled the store on foot, running behind a nearby church. They were seen leaving in a black, four door vehicle heading north on Arkansas 365 South, the report said.

The report said surveillance footage showed the first suspect holding a black handgun and wearing a white bandana, blue jeans and a blue hooded sweatshirt. The second suspect was wearing blue examination gloves and a gray hooded sweatshirt with white accents.

No arrests had been made Sunday.
