Beebe to make research-related announcement

LITTLE ROCK — Gov. Mike Beebe is preparing to make an announcement related to research that leads to business development.
Beebe has scheduled a news conference for 10 a.m. Tuesday with the Arkansas Research Alliance.
The governor’s office didn’t reveal details of what will be discussed.
The alliance focuses on using university-based research to develop new businesses and create high-paying jobs in the state.
