Man hit by car in NLR

Police respond to where a pedestrian was hit by a car at Broadway and Main streets in North Little Rock.

A pedestrian suffered injuries believed to be minor when he was hit by a car Tuesday morning in downtown North Little Rock.

It happened about 8:40 a.m. as the man was walking across Broadway Street at Main Street.

Police on the scene said the car was turning onto Broadway from Main when the man was hit.

He was on the ground near the crosswalk before being loaded into an ambulance and taken to a local hospital.
