LITTLE ROCK — Asbury United Methodist Church was the setting at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 29, for the marriage of Stacie Danette Wagner and Thomas Eric Herlihy. The Rev. David Moore officiated.
Marjorie and Dr. Charles W. Wagner, 12609 St. Charles Blvd., are the parents of the bride. She is the granddaughter of Garnet Hartong of Little Rock, the late Ernest James Hartong Sr. and the late Dorothy and William A. Wagner of Canal Fulton, Ohio.
The groom is the son of Deborah and Kevin Thomas Herlihy of Murphy, Texas. His grandparents are the late Winifred and Thomas Herlihy of Whitestone, N.Y., and the late Lois and Charles Tuthill of Long Island, N.Y.
The chancel held two arrangements of roses, stock and Asiatic lilies. Music was by organist David Austin.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a strapless ivory gown embellished with lace embroidery and a jeweled sash. She carried calla lilies, roses and ranunculus.
Honor attendants were Liz Gray of Frisco, Texas, and Ashley Luft of Mableton, Ga. Bridesmaids were Lisa Lowery of Frisco; Sarah Hartong and Erin Sogal, both of Columbus, Ohio, and cousins of the bride; Rickie Smith and Kristen Wagner, both of Little Rock; and Emma White of Shady Shores, Texas. They wore steel-gray dresses and carried bouquets of yellow roses, yellow calla lilies and white hydrangeas.
John Buxbaum of Plano, Texas, was best man. Groomsmen were Spencer Brown of Cary, N.C.; Bill Haggerty of Haslett, Texas; Patrick Herlihy of Dallas, brother of the groom; James Hughes of Austin, Texas; Brandon Marshall of Lucas, Texas; and Chad Wagner of Little Rock, brother of the bride.
Guests were seated by John Bryant of Frisco and Adam Coreil of Dallas. Ring bearer was Jackson Lowery of Frisco.
A reception on the lawn and tented patio of the Terry House followed the ceremony. Guest tables held bowls of curly willow, stones, moss and wedding flowers. Music was by the Salty Dogs.
The bride received a bachelor’s degree from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tenn., in communications studies, and a juris doctorate from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock William H. Bowen School of Law. She is associate general counsel with the LaSalle Group and Constant Care Family Management in Irving, Texas.
The groom graduated from the University of North Texas in Denton with a bachelor’s degree in computer science. He is a senior software engineering technician with Rockwell Collins in Richardson, Texas.
After a wedding trip to Emerald Bay, Bahamas, the couple will live in Frisco.
