LITTLE ROCK — North Little Rock police are investigating the shooting death of a man at Silver City Courts on Wednesday evening.
About 6:15 p.m., officers responded to a call of “numerous shots fired” at the apartment complex at 701 W. 18th St., police spokesman Sgt. Brian Dedrick said.
Dedrick said that when officers arrived, they found a black male, who had been shot at least once, dead in the middle of the complex.
The victim’s name was not released Wednesday night.
No suspect information was released, but Dedrick said investigators were interviewing witnesses late Wednesday.
The shooting is the eighth homicide in North Little Rock this year. At this time last year, the city had recorded 10 homicides, ending the year with 13.
