— Arkansas Arts Center’s atrium was the setting Saturday, Oct. 6, for the marriage of Hayley Elizabeth Berry and Chad Edward Taylor. Officiating was Tim McMinn of Sylvan Hills Community Church in Sherwood.

The bride is the daughter of Marilyn and Byron McKimmey of North Little Rock. She is the granddaughter of Beth and Leman Bradford of Shirley.

Parents of the groom are Lynn and Eddie Newton, also of North Little Rock. He is the grandson of Elwanda and the late Carol Taylor of Jacksonville, and Patricia and the late Tom Grizzard of North Little Rock.

Lighted black square columns were placed throughout the atrium and supported towering black trees. The columns held lucite cubes full of white rose petals. Music was by guitarists Jackson Hagerman and Ben Richman.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a mermaid-style Vera Wang gown of black Chantilly lace and organza.

Bridesmaids were Jeanne Johansson and Nicole Daniel, both of Little Rock; Courtney Goldberg of Boulder, Colo.; Keenan Walker of New York; Abby Wicker of North Little Rock; and Amanda Reynolds and Kiley Miller, both of Sherwood. They wore black silk fishtail gowns with faux-wrapped bodices and surplice necklines.

Junior bridesmaids were Jett Johansson and Finley Daniel, both of Little Rock; Bella and Olivia Osborne of Sherwood, nieces of the groom; and Avery Ferguson of Conway.

Groomsmen were Lance Berry of North Little Rock, brother of bride; Seth Newton, brother of groom, and Dustin Baker, both of Sherwood; Aaron Newton of Montgomery, Ala., brother of groom; and Caleb Mayden of Phoenix, cousin of bride.

Guests were seated by Chad Brown, Deshawn Robinson and Chris Routh , all of North Little Rock.

A reception in the atrium followed the ceremony. The buffet surrounded tall black and white trees standing among a mixture of casablanca lilies and ferns. Music was by Boom Kinetic. Assisting were LeAnn Wolfe and Carrie Parsons, both of Little Rock.

The bride has a bachelor’s degree in education from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville. She is a real estate agent.

The groom attended Ouachita Baptist University, where he was on the baseball team. He received a bachelor’s degree in health science from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, where he was also on the baseball team. He is a real estate agent.

After a wedding trip to Palm Springs, Calif., the couple will make their home in Little Rock.
