— Molly Jo White became the bride of Eric Leighton Ramsey at 5 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 6, at Alda’s Magnolia Hill. Tony Hill officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Patti Jo and Joe White, 1120 Walnut Grove Road. Her grandparents are Alma and Jack Dillard of Searcy, the late Marjory Dillard of Tempe, Ariz., and Josiah and the late Dottie White of Little Rock.

Debbi and Bill Ramsey of Sherwood are the parents of the groom. His grandparents are Joyce and the late Eugene Ashcraft, Carolyn Flemming and the late William Ramsey Jr.

Vows for the lakeside ceremony were exchanged by a stone altar with a crystal chandelier hanging overhead from a birch tree. The altar held two antique urns filled with lavender and white roses, purple alstroemeria, lime green hydrangeas and purple tulips.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a strapless gown with a sweetheart neckline, dropped waistline, full skirt and chapel train. The taffeta gown was embellished with re-embroidered lace, rhinestones, crystal beading and sequins. She carried a bouquet of tulips and cream-colored roses.

Hayley White of Denton, Texas, served as her sister’s maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Jamie Keoppel of Bethany, Okla., cousin of the bride; Brittany White of Vilonia; Stephanie Newton of Jefferson City, Mo., sister of the groom; Hannah Hart of Little Rock; and Courtney Wheeler of Jonesboro. They wore grape-colored chiffon gowns in the style of their choice.

Flower girl and ring bearer were Rebecca Hill of Sherwood and Cameron Hawks of Vilonia, nephew of the bride.

Best man was Dan Blair of Vilonia. Groomsmen were Matt DeSalvo of Little Rock; Alex Barker and Baker Grissom, both of Sherwood; Terrill Newton of Jefferson City; and Devin Stewart of Thornton, Colo.

Guests were seated by Nicholas White of Vilonia and Zachary White of Searcy, brothers of the bride; Seth Koettel, cousin of the groom; and Logan Bussard, both of Sherwood.

A reception at Alda’s Magnolia Hill followed the ceremony. Round tables were decorated with vintage milk bottles filled with purple and white flowers. The couple left in a 1938 Packard during a fireworks display over the lake.

The bride graduated magna cum laude from Harding University in Searcy with a bachelor’s degree in communication sciences and disorders. She received a master’s degree in speech-language pathology from the University of Central Arkansas in Conway. She is a speech-language pathologist at Clearly Speaking, LLC, in Searcy.

The groom, also a Harding graduate, has bachelor’s degrees in management and economics. He is a legal processor with RP Holdings Group, LLC.

The couple will make their home in Sherwood.
