Bread and bean: Mountain View’s courthouse square will be crowded with mountains of pinto beans, masses of cornbread and spectators enjoying the novelty of wheeled outhouses racing down the streets at the annual Bean EST and Championship Outhouse Races, Oct. 25-27. annual shopping bonanza, is planned for noon-9 p.m. Nov. 8, 9 a.m.-9 p.m. Nov. 9 and 9 a.m.-6 p.m. Nov. 10 at the Statehouse
Convention Center. Shopping
passes are $8 for one day,
$15 for three days. Children’s
