Prosecutor: Man admits burying body in 'shallow grave'

— A suspect arrested in a murder investigation admitted being present while the victim was killed and to helping bury the body, a prosecutor said Friday in court.

Taylor Arnold was also ordered held in lieu of $500,000 bond during an initial video appearance before Pulaski County District Judge Wayne Gruber.

Arnold is charged with first-degree murder, abuse of a corpse and tampering with evidence in the case.

Authorities have not released the name of the victim. The body was found Thursday after police received information that it was buried at 10306 Centennial Road in northern Pulaski County.

During the brief hearing, prosecutors said Taylor confessed to being there when the victim was killed and then to helping wrap him in sheets and bury him in a "shallow grave."

A preliminary innocent plea was entered for Arnold.

Investigators on Friday located two others wanted for questioning in the case: Joyce Rollf, 40, who lives at the Centennial Road address, and William Null, 24, of Jacksonville.

Pulaski County Sheriff's Office spokesman Lt. Carl Minden said Null and Rollf were both in a vehicle stopped by authorities in Pope County.
