ASU-Newport offering Fall Flex courses soon

— For the second consecutive year, Arkansas State University-Newport is offering Fall Flex courses in addition to its regular schedule of fall-semester course offerings. Designed for students who may have missed fall enrollment or may have been forced to drop a course, or for those students who are interested in an accelerated pathway to graduation, the Fall Flex courses are similar in structure and time commitment to ASUN’s summer courses.

Fall Flex courses are scheduled to begin Oct. 11 and run through Nov. 30, and ASUN currently has 15 general-education courses open for registration, including biological science, general chemistry, college algebra, principles of macroeconomics, microcomputer applications, fine arts musical and theater, concepts of fitness and physical science.

The courses offer the same credit hours and are priced the same as ASUN’s regular fall, spring and summer courses, while offering increased flexibility in registration deadlines, schedule changes and time commitment. For more information, call (870) 512-7800.
