Little Rock police are looking for a suspect wanted in connection with two recent aggravated robberies at local Subway restaurants.
Sgt. Cassandra Davis said in an e-mail Tuesday that police responded to a robbery Friday about 7:31 p.m. at a Subway located at 1 Stagecoach Heights. Witnesses told officers that a 20- to 25-year-old black male entered the restaurant, pulled a black semi-automatic handgun and demanded money. The man then fled the business with the money and customers' belongings.
Davis said the suspect was described as 6 feet tall and approximately 185 pounds. The suspect was said to be wearing a red and black wind jacket, red sweat pants with "Arkansas" in large letters down the left leg and a red and black toboggan with a multi-colored puffy ball on top.
Officers also responded to an aggravated robbery about 11:52 p.m. Saturday at a Subway restaurant at 100 N. Van Buren St. Those witnesses also told police that the suspect pointed a black semi-automatic handgun at them. Davis said the suspect fled with money and employees' belongings.
Police believe the same suspect committed both robberies, Davis said.
