A North Korean soldier watches the South Korean side at the border village of Panmunjom in the demilitarized zone (DMZ) in South Korea Thursday, April 4, 2013. South Korea's defense minister said Thursday North Korea has moved a missile with "considerable range" to its east coast, but said it is not capable of hitting the United States.

SEOUL, South Korea — North Korea has moved a missile with "considerable range" to its east coast, South Korea's defense minister said Thursday, but he added that there are no signs that the North is preparing for a full-scale conflict.

The report came hours after North Korea's military warned that it has been authorized to attack the U.S. using "smaller, lighter and diversified" nuclear weapons. It was the North's latest war cry against America in recent weeks. The reference to smaller weapons could be a claim that North Korea has improved its nuclear technology, or a bluff.

The North is not believed to have mastered the technology needed to miniaturize nuclear bombs enough to mount them on long-range missiles.

South Korean Defense Minister Kim Kwan-jin said he did not know the reasons behind the North's missile movement, and that it "could be for testing or drills."

He dismissed reports in Japanese media that the missile could be a KN-08, which is believed to be a long-range missile that if operable could hit the United States.

Kim told lawmakers at a parliamentary committee meeting that the missile has "considerable range" but not enough to hit the U.S. mainland.

How far are we going to let this idiot get all his forces in line to attack before slapping him down before he REALLY causes harm? We invade countries because of "supposed" WMD's and spend billions and kill thousands but wont go knock the crap out of a guy who is openly threatening us with REAL weapons?

NONSHEEPLE - well, considering we have a president who absolutely hates our own military, who hates the US Constitution, and this nation as a whole - primarily because of our guaranteed freedoms - and because he suffers from a similar mental disorder as Kim of NK - I suspect he won't do squat.

At least other countries know the majority of Americans don't think the way , thebatt and lazybar do, since Obama won with a majority vote. These two are the little people of America in mentality, the least of you, the brainless minority, the nut cases, they will always be around they have always have been around, but now the younger people ignore what they are saying. The country will only rise in stature as these type die off.

Batt, I think you are right on describing President Obama as a hater of the military and the nation as a whole. I don't believe it is because of our freedom, however.
I believe his unbelievably screwed up early childhood bent him that way. His prejudice is obvious and likely based on his mother's hatred of christian white men. Come on - he STAYED in a church that preached hatred of white america and his wife was NEVER proud of america until he was elected. He is loose with a nuclear football. A good psychological profile would probably be cause to ban him from gun ownership.

This is one situation that Obama and his sycophant media won't be able to control and manipulate.
