Entergy Arkansas crews are working to restore power in west Little Rock, the company said in a Twitter message Monday afternoon.

Entergy said that the failure, which had 2,170 customers in the dark at 11:35 a.m., was caused by a tripped breaker in the Hindman substation.

According to Entergy's outage map, the effected area includes areas of Colonel Glenn Road. The power failure extends west just past the Colonel Glenn and Lawson roads fork, and extends east on Colonel Glenn near Barrow Road.

Outages are also shown as far north as the Woodlands Edge subdivision, and as far south as the Westwood-Pecan Lake area.

Entergy said power should be restored to the area by 3 p.m.
