Arrest made in fatal stabbing in Little Rock

A man wanted in the fatal stabbing of another man Saturday has been arrested on a capital-murder warrant.

Harlon Finney, 44, was arrested without incident Wednesday morning at the Valero station at 12th Street and Rodney Parham Road, Little Rock Police Department Sgt. Cassandra Davis said in an email.

Finney was wanted in the death of 56-year-old Billy Howard, who was fatally stabbed in the drive-through lane of Baseline Liquor at 8524 Base Line Road.

Finney, who police say is homeless, was arrested about 5:30 a.m. and taken to the Little Rock police detective office for questioning.

He was led out of that facility in handcuffs about 10:30 a.m. Finney didn't respond to reporters' questions about the case.
