LR rally against possible U.S. attack in Syria

LITTLE ROCK — More than two dozen protesters gathered in downtown Little Rock to speak out against a possible U.S.-led attack on Syria.

Protesters met at the Arkansas Capitol on Saturday. Some carried anti-war signs and wore T-shirts proclaiming, "NO U.S. INTERVENTION IN SYRIA." A few people chanted "No more war."

The event in Little Rock comes as protesters around the world took to the streets to voice opinions about a possible U.S. attack on Syria.

President Barack Obama announced Saturday that he will seek congressional approval before launching any military action meant to punish Syria for its alleged use of chemical weapons in an attack that killed hundreds.
