Holiday Tour of Homes

A Christmas Story

BENTON — The Royal Players will present A Christmas Story, a comedy, at 2 p.m. today and Dec. 15, and at 7 p.m. Thursday through Saturday and at the Royal Theatre, 111. S. Christmas Parade

HOT SPRINGS — The 2013 Oaklawn Rotary Christmas Parade will be held at 6:30 p.m. in downtown Hot Springs. This year’s theme is It’s a Wonderful Life — in Hot Springs, Ark. The parade will begin at the intersection of Central, Whittington and Park avenues. Attendees are encouraged to dress warmly and stand on the sidewalk. Street vendors and the throwing of candy are not allowed during the parade. In the event of rain, the parade will be rescheduled for 6:30 p.m. Tuesday. For more information, call (501) 321-6806.

Village Chorale Holiday Concert

Santa at the Library

BRYANT — All ages are invited to visit with Santa from 2-7 p.m. Tuesday at the Mabel

Boswell Memorial Library in Bryant and from 2-7 p.m. Thursday at the Bob Herzfeld Memorial Library in Benton. Bring cameras and have pictures made with Santa. Exam Cram Sessions

BRYANT/BENTON — The Saline County Library will offer end-of-semester study sessions for students ages 13-18. Sessions will be held Wednesday at both libraries: from 3:30-5:15 p.m. at the Mabel Boswell Memorial Library in Bryant, and from 3:30-7 p.m. at the Bob Herzfeld Memorial Library in Benton. Sessions will also be held from 3:30-5:15 p.m. Dec. 16 at the Boswell Library and from 3:30-7 p.m. Dec. 18 at the Herzfeld Library. Exam Cram sessions will take place in the meeting rooms. Winter Wonderland Show and Sale

ARKADELPHIA — Winter Wonderland is now showing at the Arkadelphia Arts Center, 625 Main St. The show and sale include a wide variety of winter-themed art from local artists and holiday gift items available for purchase. Wreaths, Old World Santas, jewelry, decorator items and more have been donated with proceeds from sales to benefit the nonprofit arts center, run by the Clark County Arts and Humanities Council. Ageless Bikers Club

Merry Mixers Dance Club

HOT SPRINGS VILLAGE — The Hot Springs Village Merry Mixers dance to live music on the first and third Saturdays of every month from 7:30-10:30 p.m. at the Coronado Community Center. On the third Saturday, a lesson is held at 7 p.m. Admission is $7.50 per person for first-Saturday dances and $10 per person for third-Saturday dances. Club members get a discount for the season. Rhythmic Interactive Percussion

HOT SPRINGS — A Rhythmic Interactive Percussion musical event takes place from 5-9 p.m. every Sunday at Kenneth Adair Park, 358 Central Ave. Everyone is invited. Participation is encouraged as founder/facilitator and ensemble members pass out drums, tambourines, maracas and more to audience members.
