TEXARKANA - A 65-year-old Texarkana woman arrested in the shooting death of another Texarkana woman has been denied bail.
A Miller County judge on Friday ordered Virginia Hyatt held without bond after she was arrested in the shooting death of 59-year-old Pattie Wheelington. Wheelington’s body was found Tuesday morning outside her home in Texarkana.
Police have said only that they believe the shooting was the result of an ongoing dispute between the women.
