Where I live: I live in the Park Hill neighborhood of North Little Rock with my husband, Daniel, and our rescued dog, Bandit, who is a beagle-basset mix.

Occupation: I am the special events coordinator at the Arkansas Foodbank.

My favorite space is: Our living room.

Why? In the mornings, I drink coffee, read my devotional and watch the news in the living room. It gives me time to wake up and get ready for the day. Usually, our dog Bandit joins me on the sofa for some quality one-on-one time. At night, Daniel and I talk about what we have going on while watching movies in the living room. When our family and friends come over, we all gather in the living room. We have an oversize sofa and matching oversize chair. Everybody can talk, laugh, play games, watch movies and be together in this space. Daniel and I both like entertaining, so we have people over frequently.

If I could make one change to improve this space, I would: Love to have new living room furniture! Our sofa, chair and coffee table have been with us for a long time. They have survived too many moves to count. There are several beautiful sectionals that I have picked out at Crate and Barrel, Pottery Barn and Ikea. Santa has a copy of my wish list.
