I-40 lane closure set in Lonoke County

One lane of Interstate 40 in Lonoke County will be closed two days this week while crews work on a sign above the highway, officials said.

The Arkansas Highway and Transportation Department said the eastbound outside lane of I-40 will be shut Tuesday and Wednesday near the Remington Road exit at mile marker 169.

The lane will be shut between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. each day.

Highway officials say motorists should be careful when traveling through the work zone and all other construction zones across the state.
