SPRINGDALE — Arkansas State Police have arrested three men who raced motorcycles on U.S. 412 in Northwest Arkansas.
Troopers caught the men near Siloam Springs on Wednesday after a high-speed chase.
Fayetteville television station KHOG reported that the motorcyclists were clocked at speeds of more than 100 mph. A trooper tried to pull the men over when he saw them cutting in and out of traffic. One of the riders allegedly blocked one lane of traffic on the highway while the other two raced.
All three fled when the trooper tried to pull them over.
Several agencies participated in the chase and the suspects were arrested. They face charges of fleeing and numerous traffic offenses.
