Crews responded Sunday night to a fire that had flames shooting from the windows of a downtown residence.

Little Rock firefighters were called shortly after 9 p.m. to the blaze at a residence on the south side of Third Street between Pulaski and Cross streets.

At that time, large flames were visible shooting out windows on the east side and on the roof of the structure, a two-story brick building framed by four large white columns in front.

A spokesman for the Little Rock Fire Department said two residents got out without any serious injuries.

The cause of the fire wasn't immediately known.
