Man accused of pointing handgun at woman

A man is accused of pointing a handgun at a woman in the Little Rock apartment they share, authorities said.

Charles Williams, 51, was arrested about 12:30 a.m. Sunday on a charge of aggravated assault on a family or household member.

According to a Little Rock Police Department report, the victim told investigators Williams "pointed a handgun in her face when she arrived home" to their apartment in the 800 block of North Grant Street.

The woman then left the apartment and called authorities, who responded and arrested Williams.

He remained in the Pulaski County jail Monday morning with bail not yet set.
