The couple were married Jan. 5, 1954. She is the former Lois V. Taylor and a retired licensed practical nurse. He is a retired perfusionist. They are the parents of Lynn Wright of Alexander, Ann Wright Burnett of Fayetteville and Tara Wright Peet of Maumelle. The couple have five grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
GREENBRIER - Colleen and William Morgan will celebrate their 61st wedding anniversary. The couple were married Dec. 26, 1952. She is the former Colleen McKenzie and retired from Meadors and Adams Insurance. He is retired from the Little Rock Police Department. They are the parents of Vicki Morgan of Mayflower and have one grandchild and one great-grandchild.
Yvonne and Joe Whalen of North Little Rock will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary. The couple were married Dec. 27, 1963. She is the former Yvonne White and is a retired teacher from the North Little Rock School District. He is a retired study director at Market Strategies International. They are the parents of Mike Whalen of Little Rock. The couple have two grandchildren.
ARKADELPHIA - Ann and Elvin Johnson have celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary. The couple were married Dec. 20, 1958. She is the former Ann Porterfield. Both are retired. They are the parents of David Johnson of Porter, Texas, and Bobby Johnson of Benton. The couple have two grandchildren.
HOT SPRINGS VILLAGE - Jean and Andrew R. Taldo, formerly of North Little Rock, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary. The couple were married Dec. 28, 1963, at Holy Souls Catholic Church. She is the former Jean Minor and retired from Arkansas Blue Cross and Blue Shield. He is retired from the U.S. Postal Service. They are the parents of Christina Zimmerman of Simi Valley, Calif.; Stephanie Pieper of Ellisville, Mo.; and Karen Skretkowicz of Lakeland, Tenn. The couple have four grandchildren.

He is retired vice president of commercial loans at First Commercial Bank. They are the parents of Laura Daven of Little Rock and John Buczkowski of Eagle River, Alaska. The couple have four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
