PB woman accused of stealing cologne

A Pine Bluff woman accused of shoplifting more than $1,000 worth of cologne from a department store was arrested Saturday.

Brittney Nelson, 28, of 300 W. 13th Ave., was arrested and charged with felony theft of property. She was taken to the Pulaski County jail but was no longer there Sunday.

About 4:20 p.m. Saturday,North Little Rock police officers were called to McCain Mall at 3929 McCain Blvd. J.C. Penney loss-prevention employees had seen Nelson grab “several bottles of cologne” before trying to leave the store without paying, according to the arrest report.

The cologne bottles were worth an estimated $1,111, according to police.
