— Police are looking for a man who robbed a Little Rock Walgreens at gunpoint early Saturday.

According to a Little Rock Police Department report, officers were called shortly before 6:30 a.m. to the store at 3901 W. Markham St. after a man approached an employee behind the store, pointed a gun at her and then forced her and two others inside and into an office.

There, the man forced one of the employees to open the safe and took an undisclosed amount of cash.

The robber is described as a black man between 35 and 45 years old who stood about 5 foot 8 and weighed about 180 pounds. He was wearing a black hoodie, a black leather coat, a black shirt and black pants, and he had a black bandanna covering his face. He also wore white gloves.

No arrests have been made.

Well, if he is 35-45 years old that government would have been Richard Nixon or Gerald Ford.

Wendy's & Walgreens are patronized by black, white, Asian, Hispanic....and the employees usually represent all races too so it's everybody's problem. I really feel for the typically young employees having this fearful experience. It wouldn't bother me one bit to see someone pop out their concealed weapon and blow these robbers away!

As far as police meetings, they would probably say to give up your belongings and head into the cooler....

Yep, we need everyone to voluntarily give up their guns. That will put an end to armed robberies right?

Neighborhood Watch groups are great. No one seriously believes a police officer can be everywhere at all times. It sounds to me like it is time for business owners to come up with their own security plan.
If business owners cannot provide security for their employees and their customers, they need to close their doors. If that means an armed guard, fine, but do something to put an end to the criminal taking the upper hand.
