Darr won’t run for governor in ’14, backs Hutchinson

— Arkansas Lt. Gov. Mark Darr says he’s not running for governor in 2014.

Darr said in a statement Tuesday that he’s received support and encouragement to join the gubernatorial race, but he said it’s not the right choice for him now.

Darr instead voiced support for Republican gubernatorial hopeful and former U.S. Rep. Asa Hutchinson.

Darr said last month that he was seriously considering running against Democratic U.S. Sen. Mark Pryor but was also considering the governor’s race or a re-election bid.

No Republicans have announced a bid to challenge Pryor, who is seeking a third term.

Darr’s announcement comes after Democratic Attorney General Dustin McDaniel dropped out of the gubernatorial race last month.

Gov. Mike Beebe is barred by term limits from seeking re-election in 2014.

Darr is such a lightweight that he wouldn't make it past the GOP primary in any race other than lieutenant governor -- and that isn't guaranteed even though he's the incumbent.

Arkansas really needs to go to the bottom rung 50th, and Hutchinson is just the one to take us there, along with our new ledge.

FYI......all states with NO minimum wage are in the South. Hmmmm. Now I know why the south has the most fast food restraunts.
McDonalds is extremely picky about who they allow to buy franchises--they absolutely do not want a franchisee to fail, only partly because it makes the company look bad if they bring someone in who fails. One of the things you MUST bring to the table is $300,000 of your own money.
The franchise itself costs $45,000. This entry fee gives you permission to build (or acquire) a restaurant, write McDonalds on the side of it and start selling McDonalds food.
The restaurant will cost you anywhere from $1 to $2 million. They would prefer you open several of them.
